People who install cameras in their homes do not always expect to capture the worst in their much-loved humble abodes. These gadgets can be quite helpful if you need to know exactly what happens in your home whenever you're not around. However, what we capture sometimes returns results that are quite unexpected.

This piece covers the story of a much-envied couple and their home-installed lenses. It also covers some elements about homeowners who installed this gadget and what they saw. Some are creepy without a clear explanation of what is happening. Yet others captured criminal acts in progress that called for immediate prosecution.

The Preamble

In their neighborhood, many people saw Grace and John Richards as the epitome of a perfect couple. We know that no one can be perfect, let alone a married duo! They were considered a perfect example of success in their town since they both had good jobs.

From the outside, the duo represented nearly what everyone around them wanted to be. We would, however, be duly advised that looks are deceiving. In Richard's case, something was brewing behind the scenes, unknown to many who envied them. Perhaps if their secrets were let loose, many would be shocked and never envy them again.

Brewing Troubles

The couple had engaged the services of a daily babysitter who would come in at the start of the day and leave at sunset. Grace started to notice her husband talking a lot with the babysitter, but it wasn't a conventional conversation. The engagement between the two seemed somewhat hasty and rushed.

Grace devised an excellent plan to begin investigating what was going on. She set up hidden cameras within their house. At least if something's going on, she'll get to know! She would use the acquired proof to confront John and Anna. After a week of recording, she settled down to review the recorded video tapes.

She noticed some strange things, like her husband and the babysitter being together in the same room. Their closeness also sent jitters down her spine. Worse still, the two walked towards each other menacingly, which made Grace brace herself for the worst that was yet to come.

Intense Video Review

The young babysitter sustained her movement towards the man of the house, showing something was indeed going on between them. Deeply fixed and engrossed in watching the film unfold before her, even leaning forward for a clear view of events, Grace was suddenly startled by a knock on her door.

On opening the door, she met Anna standing there. She had apparently come for her weekly babysitting payment. As Grace moved to get her purse to get the cash, John walked in and insisted on making that payment. He left the room and headed towards his parked ride outside to collect Anna's payment.

Suspicious Behaviors

The events unfolding before her left Grace in disbelief. She was fully aware of her not-so-beautiful looks, having just given birth. In fact, it didn't get lost on her that John was a very attractive and successful man that any woman would fall for. Grace became alert, wondering if her husband was cheating on her with Anna.

Unexpected Burst Up

Enough is Enough!

The door slammed behind John, so Grace ran to him to find out what was going on. She asked, "What's happening?" "I've dismissed her," her husband replied. "What, why so?" Grace asked. Of course, she was surprised by the move and why it had to be so sudden without the two discussing it first.

Without holding back, John gave Grace an answer that she didn't expect would come from him despite her suspicions. He replied that all Anna did was flirt with him whenever he was around her and he didn't appreciate it. In fact, he pointed out that he was very uncomfortable around her.

Coming Clean

Apparently, John had warned Anna times without number to stop making a move on him but she vehemently refused, so she had to go. Noting that she had been worried for nothing, Grace decided to come clean. She told John about having noticed the flirting and her fears that led to her drastic action.

Grace informed her husband of her secretly installed cameras and the spying she was conducting on him and Anna. She narrated her ordeal amidst tears, explaining her insecurities and how she felt unattractive after giving birth. That Anna's continued presence in their home worsened matters for her self-esteem.

A Shoulder To Lean On

The understanding and supportive John was shocked by his wife's revelations and what she had gone through due to Anna's presence. He reassured his wife of his love for her and that he wouldn't even think of cheating on her. The now-composing Grace felt relieved, and a huge weight lifted off her shoulders.

Spirits From Beyond

As much as many people may not believe it, there are instances of spirits possessing others, especially at the night. This creepy-looking photo shows a home-installed lens shot, supposedly of a woman possessed by a demon. Clearly, it must have struck early given that most spirits are believed to come out after midnight.

The woman demon apparently rocked and swayed in place for hours, and when its time was up just before sunrise, it walked on all fours. She creepily crawled towards the camera with a snarl, typical of spirits. It's believed that existing spirits are either good or evil.

Uninvited Guest

How safe is your home? Are your locks burglar-proof? These are some of the questions homeowners must ask and address when they're setting up their residences. There has been a multitude of break-in cases, while some are just mere walk-ins due to ineffective security systems. Installing home lenses also goes a long way in enhancing home security.

When these folks installed this lens, they probably did so to monitor their young one and not capture a stranger sneaking up on him. This man is calmly looking at the sleeping baby in a crib, seemingly having forgotten what had initially brought him there.

Technological Weaknesses

Cameras are technological gadgets susceptible to hacking like the rest. There have been cases of cams being hacked by fraudsters who are looking to take some of your prized items or documents. The installed lenses are the last thing a homeowner thinks of being hacked. Well, even that isn't full-proof safe!

This kid's cam was unfortunately hacked to the point that it even made the news about how it happened. The child of speaking age was apparently engrossed in a conversation with a stranger who had hacked the lens. There's definitely no way the kid would have known the criminal was unwelcome.

Canny Ghost Boy

Boys are known to pack one or two of the creepiest tricks up their sleeves. When one lets their guard down, the other strikes menacingly, to the other's chagrin. Folks can always tell the aggressor at home by simply looking at the lenses they've installed. So, what happens if what you've spotted is not what you expected?

Apparently, these homeowners have only one boy, but what they saw through the home-installed lens startled them. It captured two boys in their boy's bed, looking like a young boy and his big brother. The family has no idea where the second boy came from and where he went.

Who Are You?

Just like picture angles can be manipulated, camera settings can have the same effect when recording videos. Unfortunately, depending on what the person who configures them intends to achieve, some settings can be terrifying. In this picture, a woman can clearly be seen standing in front of the lens.

However, what is visibly presented didn't actually happen! How comes? One may ask. The family was terrified, believing that someone was in their boy's room. It turns out that it was their neighbor's security lens feed that was playing on their setup monitor. Well, the boy's relaxed nature should have outrightly given it away.

A Weird Melody

Most children do fall asleep with soft, melodious music playing in the background. The songs' soothing nature naturally draws sleep to the young ones' eyes before the slumber drags them off to the unknown world. When folks set up music for their kids, they know the songs they're playing.

In this story, a mother was awoken in the middle of the night by some strange melody coming from her kid's room that she hadn't heard before. On a quick scan, it turned out that their home cam had been hacked, and the hacker was having a time of his life playing the tunes.

The Supple Connor

At a tender age, kids are so highly flexible that they can pull unthinkable moves, especially when they're not under close monitoring. When you give that flexibility to a boy, you can expect plenty of mischievous behavior. When Connor's folks laid him in his crib to sleep for the night, they perhaps didn't expect his next move.

Thanks to their home-installed lens, they captured their boy walking and balancing on his crib's edge, crying while calling out for his mother. The terrified parents must have been relieved when their son fell backward into the crib unharmed and everything was captured on video.

What Are the Chances?

Ever heard of tales about haunted houses? Well, they're plenty, and their existence is attributed to the presence of ghosts. Essentially, it's believed that a haunted house is inhabited by the spirits of the dead and that the haunting begins when something terrible occurs in the house, such as murder.

This still video frame may not show much until you hear its story. Apparently, the people who appeared in the video claimed that they were haunted by the house. As much as there wasn't any movement, the end of the clip revealed a surprise; all windows and doors were wide open. Creepy, yeah!

A Spooky Object

At the club, you'll often see multicolored lighting bulbs hanging from the roof, providing a celebratory kind of feel to the revelers. While such scenes are expected in such a space, we doubt parents look forward to seeing even one bulb with two or so colors hovering over their child when asleep deep in the night.

This photo captured a spooky orb hovering and moving around the silently sleeping kid. Its bright lights moved and jumped across the screen with purpose. Eventually, it appeared to be absorbed by the baby's body. No one can clearly describe whatever it was other than by describing what they saw.

The Invisible Pal

Even though children are aware that invisible friends don't exist, they still keep some imaginary ones close for companionship. Since they're fake, psychologically created pals, we don't expect to see them at all in our lifetime. That is not until you spot the phenomenon in this image.

It's magical how lenses work to capture the most unimaginable things. If you carefully and closely look at this shot, what can you see? Did this razor-sharp lens catch an imaginary friend? Was it a light trick on us, or was something more sinister going on? Now it's up to you to tell the story!

Unsettled Grandmother

Some spirits of the living dead are known to hover around for some time before they settle in the land of the dead. Such spirits are said to try to establish contact with the living and what better way to do it than by appearing to kids? This picture clearly captures one such instance.

The elderly woman seen leaning on the kid's crib gives a chilling feeling to anyone who sees it. Yes, it's unusual until you hear that she's believed to be the child's grandmother. Not just that, the woman died sometime before the kid was born. Now, fathom that!

Unimaginable Home Invasion

Reportedly, most home invasions or break-ins happen during the day between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This is when most homeowners are at work, and rarely do you find people at home. Whether you leave for work or stay home, be sure to keep your home-installed cameras rolling.

If we're at home, we must be dreading terrifying home invasions like the one shown here. This is a daytime home invasion, proving the point above. The female homeowner was brutally attacked by the guy who invaded her home. Since the man wasn't aware, he was arrested for prosecution since everything was captured on video.

Heinous Ill-Treatment

Some unfortunate incidences have occurred over the years about parents torturing their kids for one reason or another. In Asia and Africa, kids born with some sort of deformity are locked up and fed like caged animals unless someone comes to their rescue. In the Czech Republic, a man caught such an act when setting up his tools.

He picked up an unusual frequency from his lenses before he saw a terrifying sight of two boys chained up in a dark basement. He called the cops on his neighbor, who was the one who had her sons chained and tortured them. Cruel parenting, indeed!

Nanny From Hell

Is it enough to hire a nanny and leave them with your child without some kind of monitoring? Well, some parents are trusting enough to do that, especially when they know the history and background of their employees. While some babysitters will be gentle and loving with your kids, some will not.

There have been terrible sightings of babysitters improperly handling kids, some going as far as beating them thoroughly, like in this image. The nanny may be suffering from a troubled past, so the slightest "mistake" by the kid triggers this kind of beating. This kid's father took action after noticing bruises and checking the camera recordings.
